Founder

Vernetta presently is a Paralegal at a mid-size Law Firm in Baltimore County, Notary Public, and Certified Medical Biller/Collector Coder, CPT, ICD-9 & ICD-10. Vernetta's 30 plus years as a medical biller, put her in a position to become the leader of a workers compensation department for a large Multi- Specialty- Medical Center. Vernetta's lead role gave her the opportunity to show her strengths as a Medical Biller/Collector. She filed issues, C51, electronically on the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission for unpaid medical claims, appeared before Maryland workers' comp commissioner with prepared exhibits to present the unpaid claims for submission for payments, against well-known employer insurer attorneys.

Vernetta's experiences are not limited to the medical field. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, as she provided data entry, collection, client invoicing, track account receivables/ payables, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll any and all bookkeeping services to many independent organizations using Quick Books online & Desktop versions.

Vernetta serves as an executive board member of a non-profit organization The Help Outreach Center, Inc. an organization that serves the Baltimore City Edmondson Village, North Bend, Baltimore County Catonsville Communities. Vernetta plays a pivotal role, as the Treasurer/Project Manager and Grant writer. The Help Outreach Centers Free Sterile Tech Program was spearheaded by Vernetta, which she ensured the organization stayed in compliance within in the (HSPA) guidelines. Retaining partnerships, with organization such as Kaiser Permanente, University of Maryland Uplift Alliance, University of MD Upper Chesapeake.

Vernetta was recently nominated and was awarded the Forward Women's LeadHERShip Forum Award for her stellar leadership in the community.

Currently, Vernetta is a member of The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers Association and studied to become a CB- Certified Public Bookkeeper. She is excited that she became a member of AIPB, they provide monthly updates such as changes in our current tax laws. Vernetta is passionate about her skillset and her ability to multi-task. Downtime for Vernetta is spent with her teenage son to whom she adores, three sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. She also has two large dogs Bella (South African Boerboel) and Titan (American Bully), which she calls her love bugs.
